Neena is a supervised counselor working towards her Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health from Walden University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Pre-Law from University of North Carolina Wilmington. She is currently working under the supervision of two providers at Islands Counseling: Kelli Littlefield EdS, LPC, CPCS and Kari Barrett LPC, CPCS, RPT/S, as well as a clinical supervisor from Walden University.
Neena works with clients ages 4 and up and incorporates a variety of evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs. She values a collaborative counseling relationship where clients are active participants in identifying goals and creating meaningful change. Her approach focuses on supporting each client’s strengths, challenges, values, and personal growth.
Neena aims to embrace diversity and celebrate differences, striving to empower her clients and not only promote but also support their well-being in their counseling journey. She loves incorporating the arts and creativity in her work and believes in the power of expression and connecting authentically with her clients.
Outside of the office, Neena loves film, music, soccer, food, and traveling. She loves spending time with her family, friends, and her sweet dog Bazi!
