Katie Atkins-Russell is a Licensed Professional Counselor that graduated from South University in Savannah. She achieved her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in the Fall of 2023. She completed her Bachelor’s of Psychology at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA. Her education has prepared her to offer counseling to adults, adolescents, children, groups, couples, and families.
She believes that the client’s needs always come first and will do anything possible to help them achieve their goals. Katie is full of personality and loves to add in jokes when appropriate and will always make her clients feel comfortable. She wants her clients to feel excited to come to counseling because they will know that they will have a safe place to talk about anything in her office and will leave feeling better than when they came in.
In her free time, she enjoys going on the boat with her husband and grabbing a coffee to take a stroll around Forsyth with friends.
